Finding the right forest? That's the easy part - for us. Proprietary technology that identifies the right forests, qualifies them for carbon programs, and tracks every tonne.
What we measure
Noora develops carbon projects in the Nordic region, producing carbon credits Verified Carbon Units (VCUs) under the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), under Verra’s scope.
The carbon credits will be certified according to Verra’s methodology VM0045 Methodology for Improved Forest Management using Dynamic Matched Baselines from National Forest Inventories:

Great carbon projects don't grow on trees but we know which trees grow them. The Noora platform uses several layers of forest data, AI and machine learning to identify areas suited for carbon projects.

Quantification of Removals and Revenue
ESA satellites read the forest. Algorithms turn it into income. CO₂ sequestration and income potential is automatically calculated.
MRV, because trust is built in real time. Our platform monitors and reports on project climate impact using satellite data and AI analysis to ensure project integrity.
